When winter brings snow, slush, and slippery conditions, these Froddo barefoot shoes keep feet warm, dry, and firmly grounded. The waterproof TEX membrane between the upper and lining protects against moisture, while the soft wool lining keeps feet warm in freezing weather. TEX Winter is an excellent choice when you want your winter shoes to offer the natural feel of barefoot shoes, warmth, protection, and comfort.

The flexible Lifolit® outsole bends naturally in every direction and provides good grip in winter conditions. The boot-style shaft makes the shoes easy to slip on, and the removable wool insole is convenient to take out to dry after use.

Froddo TEX Winter is best suited to medium-width and slightly wider feet. For high-volume feet, we recommend the Froddo Up Hill Wool model instead, which has more room over the top of the foot.

💖 PLEASE NOTE THAT SHOES WITH A TEX MEMBRANE ARE NOT THE SAME AS RUBBER BOOTS! 💖 Shoes with a TEX membrane treated with a water-repellent spray offer excellent water resistance up to a certain point. However, once the shoes are completely soaked, even the “effectiveness” of the TEX membrane between the upper and lining may no longer be enough. If rain is in the forecast or you expect to spend a long time in wet conditions, it's best to wear fully waterproof rubber boots.
